When asked whether he'd played any VR games — an obvious question given the theme of his latest movie, Ready Player One — the legendary director answered "I played Mario and so on on the PlayStation. The first time I tried it I didn't want to take the goggles off." Did Spielberg just leak the existence of a shocking tie-up between Nintendo and Sony? Is Mario really coming to PlayStation, and in VR no less? Well, almost certainly not. Which makes me wonder what Spielberg is talking about. Here are some of the possibilities that come to mind:

The world's most comprehensive penis transplant yet took place at Johns Hopkins Hospital at the end of March, the hospital announced today — and so far, it looks like a success. The unnamed patient is walking around and should be able to leave the hospital this week. A new image of the phone was posted to Twitter today by VentureBeat reporter and frequent phone leaker Evan Blass, showing every single side of the upcoming phone. There have been plenty of G7 leaks already, but this one leaves us nothing left to guess at — at least when it comes to the phone's design. Major Chinese tech companies like Huawei, Alibaba, and Tencent discriminate against women in their online job listings, a new report from Human Rights Watch found today. Some job postings directly state they are for men only, while others specify that women must have attractive appearances and even be a certain height. Online job discrimination on the basis of gender is particularly stinging for women in China, as applying online is generally the first step towards securing a position, similar to how it is in the US. But one interesting highlight from the earnings announcement was just how much money the company's smart home company Nest earns in revenue and reports in losses.
