(Apple also indefinitely delayed the theatrical release of its feature film The Banker two months ago.) "I have decided that I will no longer be executive producer on The Untitled Kirby Dick and Amy Ziering documentary and it will not air on Apple TV+," Oprah wrote in a statement issued to several film industry publications, including The Hollywood Reporter, Deadline and The Wrap. In fact, the augmented reality game is earning more money than it ever has before. According to mobile analytics firm Sensor Tower, Pokémon Go had a record year in 2019, taking in an estimated $900 million through in-app purchases. That means Pokémon Go has surpassed its launch year in revenue after seeing a drop off in both players and spending back in 2017. It's a rare comeback feat for a free-to-play game, many of which are flash-in-the-pan successes and fade into obscurity. OnePlus 8 reportedly coming to Verizon with support for 5G Posted: 10 Jan 2020 03:17 PM PST Photo by Neil Godwin/Future Publishing via Getty Images OnePlus' next phone, the OnePlus 8, will reportedly launch on Verizon in the US, with 5G connectivity, Android Police reports. It would be the first OnePlus phone available on Verizon, as currently T-Mobile is the only US carrier for OnePlus phones. The Chinese phone maker showed off its Concept One phone at CES 2020, which included a disappearing camera. And according to Chinese media reports, OnePlus plans to demonstrate new "screen technology" at an event in China on January 13th. What this new tech might be remains a mystery, but a graphic the company shared shows glass panels stacked on top of one another. It's not clear whether the OnePlus 8 will make use of any of this new tech, but we do know it may swap its signature pop-up... |

Instead, Microsoft is leaning into its Xbox Play Anywhere strategy and fully supporting backwards compatibility moving forward. According to Microsoft Studios head Matt Booty, who spoke with UK gaming site MCV, "over the next year, two years, all of our games, sort of like PC, will play up and down that family of devices," Booty said. "We want to make sure that if someone invests in Xbox between now and [Series X] that they feel that they made a good investment and that we're committed to them with content." The Mate X, which is only for sale in China, sells for 16,999 yuan, or about $2,400. That's just shy of the sales estimates for rival Samsung's Galaxy Fold, although it's not totally clear exactly how shy. Samsung executive Young Sohn incorrectly claimed the Galaxy Fold had sold 1 million units, but later updated that figure at CES 2020 to "400,000 to 500,000" since its September launch. The new vehicle will reportedly be teased during a Super Bowl commercial starring LeBron James. GM will sell the Hummer truck starting in 2022 under its GMC brand, and it isn't expected to revive Hummer as a complete brand of its own, as it once was, according to the report. This is the first time that the company has directly sold a product it created using the genetic information collected from users. 23andMe has already shared genetic data with pharmaceutical companies. GlaxoSmithKline has the exclusive rights to use its data for drug development, and purchased a $300 million stake in the company in 2018. But those drug companies use the company's data to create their own drugs. In this case, 23andMe identified a drug candidate and conducted animal studies on that drug internally before selling it.
