| Someone sent us 21 more pictures of the leaked Pixel 4 XL Posted: 14 Sep 2019 10:00 AM PDT  The Pixel 4 XL hasn't been able to stop leaking this week, and now we have yet another set of photos showing off the unannounced, unreleased phone. Several of the leaks we've seen this week have stemmed from a Vietnam-based shop that sells imported phones, called D Store Mobile. D Store declined to share how it acquired an unreleased Pixel 4 XL, but it told The Verge that the phone was not a final unit and was more likely a "test model." It's not a fake, though, D Store said. Google hasn't responded to a request for comment. D Store also sent over 21 pictures of the Pixel 4 XL that we haven't seen published before. First, Apple announced pricing and a launch date for Apple TV Plus — $4.99 per month, starting November 1st. Then, Disney launched a free pilot of Disney+ in the Netherlands, offering up a ton of details on how the whole thing is going to work. It seems surprisingly robust for a service that's not out for another two months, when it'll launch for $6.99 per month. Apple was smart to price itself under Disney, especially given the breadth and richness of Disney's catalog (its classic musicals, all of Star Wars, and most MCU movies) compared to Apple's nascent one (you can count the launch titles on two hands). I'm not sure how many people will be eager to pay Apple even with the low... |
| Microsoft’s Surface Laptop 3 may include a new 15-inch model Posted: 14 Sep 2019 07:43 AM PDT  Microsoft is planning to refresh its Surface lineup next month, and there could be a bigger version of the Surface Laptop 3 in the cards. WinFuture reports that Microsoft will unveil a new 15-inch version of the Surface Laptop 3 next month, with the same 3:2 aspect ratio. We're expecting Microsoft to launch an AMD-powered Surface Laptop 3, and it's possible that this chip could be found on this rumored 15-inch model. If the report is accurate, that will mean Microsoft's Surface Laptop could further compete with the company's Surface Book device. Microsoft currently offers both 13.5- and 15-inch versions of the Surface Book 2. They're also incredibly long. Like, super long. We're talking Lord of the Rings long.
