| Microsoft Outlook, Office 365, Teams, and more are experiencing an outage Posted: 28 Sep 2020 04:43 PM PDT  Illustration by Alex Castro / The Verge Some Microsoft services, including Outlook, Office 365, and Microsoft Teams, are currently experiencing an outage, according to Microsoft's Office status page. "Users may be unable to access multiple Microsoft 365 services," a notice on the page reads. The company first acknowledged issues at 5:44PM ET via the Microsoft 365 Status Twitter account, and said it had rolled back a change thought to be the cause of the issue at 6:36PM ET. But just 13 minutes later, the company tweeted again to say that it was "not observing an increase in successful connections after rolling back a recent change."

Google rolled this out first for the web in June. The technology is designed to dampen background noise like a keyboard or a barking dog while you're on a Google Meet call. The mission is finally ready to fly a full month after the rocket's first launch attempt, which was aborted just three seconds before liftoff. The rocket going up on ULA's mission is the Delta IV Heavy, a giant vehicle that consists of three rocket cores strapped together to provide extra thrust. It's one of the most powerful rockets in the world, though it falls short of the power packed into SpaceX's Falcon Heavy. Starting today, AT&T is finally allowing customers to mix and match which unlimited plan they choose and potentially save some money on their phone bill each month, with a program it's calling Unlimited Your Way. For instance, if previously your parents were looking for more hotspot data or a bundled subscription to HBO Max, they would likely have chosen the Unlimited Elite plan, and pay $50 each for four lines (or $200 a month) for a family of four. UHS facilities in California, Florida, North Dakota, Arizona, and other locations began noticing problems early Sunday, with some locations reporting locked computers and phone systems. Some UHS hospitals had to use pen and paper to file patient information as a result, according to NBC News. The hospital system, which has more than 400 locations in the US and the UK, said in a statement on Monday that its IT network across several facilities was offline "due to an IT security issue." The announcement addresses recent concerns around Android app development, including a fight over alternate in-app payment systems and difficulties for businesses moving online because of COVID-19. Android users can already install apps through third-party stores like Samsung's Galaxy Store.
