If you're setting up a commercial LG TV, such as for a hotel or hospital, you'll also have an Installer menu you can open using the Installer remote. This wikiHow will teach you how to find the hidden service and installation menus on your LG TV. - Get your LG TV's original remote. While some non-LG, third-party, or universal remotes can be used to open your TV's service menu, you'll have the greatest chance of success if you use the remote that came with your TV.
- This method will not work with the LG Magic Remote (the one that's voice-activated and comes with modern OLED TVs). You will need a service remote instead.
- If you don't have the original LG remote, you can try a universal remote. But if that doesn't work, you'll need a replacement remote from LG or a service remote.

- Slide: This transition displays the new video clip sliding in horizontally on top of the old clip.

- Fade: This transition fades the old clip to a black screen and then fades in the new clip from a black screen.
- Select duration of the transition. Tap how long you want the transition to last above the list of transitions at the bottom of the screen. Your options are as follows:
- Tap 0.5s to add a transition that lasts half a second.
- Tap 1.0s to add a transition that lasts one second.
- Tap 1.5s to add a transition that lasts one-and-a-half seconds.
- Tap 2.0s to add a transition that lasts two seconds.
- Toggle sound effects on or off. By default, transitions do not have a sound effect. If you want to add a sound effect to the transition, tap Sound FX Off/On next to the duration options to toggle sound effects on and off.
